The US Ambassador's Christmas message to Romanians

 

"Christmas is a time to celebrate our faith - faith in God, faith in the goodness of man, and faith in what the future holds. It's also a time of celebration with friends and family.

This Christmas, I celebrate with new friends - the Romanian people. I'm deeply grateful for the warm hearts that have befriended me during my three months here. As we look to 2002, I pledge my continued commitment to strengthening relations between our governments and our peoples, for the benefit of both countries.

You have my heart this Christmas season, and my best wishes for a better Romania, for all Romanians, in 2002."
